KANDI & TOYS in BABELAND...

Kandi, and toys in Babeland galoooore!!! Well, speaking about the toys. Kandi on the other hand? I think there was just the right amount of that...or her rather. :) Kandi Burruss of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" graced New York City, Babeland in SoHo that is, with her lovely presence. She was there celebrating the launch of her new luxury intimate pleasure line, "Bedroom Kandi". Yours truly had the opportunity to interview her. Inquiring minds ask, "How did THIS happen?!".

I was contacted by Fuzion Magazine to do correspondence, that's how! Yup. A phone call. Now, I live in south jersey, so I had to haul a$$ to the city. I had no idea what I was going to say or even how to get where I was going, but clearly I was right on time. I must add that it has been a very long time since Ive been in front of the camera, at this capacity, and my 1st three practice takes had me wondering if I was delusional, and possibly should have passed on this one, because I COULDNT TALK. It was as if I was a robot short circuting, trying to speak with a mouth full of peanut butter. My armpits suddenly begin to sweat and the desire to use the ladies room was now a neccessity. Then thank God something remarkable happened. The cameraman smiled. As if to say, simply, relaaaax. So, I said to myself, "You...Are...Here." I inhaled deeply and and spoke to myself one more time. "You.Are.Here.NOW...just do it." And then I did it. Seeeee....

 Now; The Rundown:

Kandi Burruss arrives and is as beautiful as always. She takes pictures with some fans as soon as she enters and yes I took one with her. :) Then, there is some very risky yet, "informative", Q&A time. Mr. Don Won, who acted as some sort of body guard/ go-to man chose the people that wanted to ask Kandi a question. Kandi's answers were a combination of class and humor. If you were new to a setting as such, you could completely feel comfortable...

I think Kandi was talking to moi...She reveals that her favorite of the line is "Happiness and Joy" - a modern, rabbit-style massager that connects wirelessly to the iPod®, iPhone®, or any other music player or smartphone. Interesting, I know.

While Kandi did another picture section, Fuzion Magazine and I waited patiently for Kandi to let us interview her. Nadine suggested that the cameraman (Russell) and I interview two women that were set up at in the back of Babeland doing FREE MANICURES! Definitely cool.

There was undoubtedly a very long line still of fans anxious to meet Kandi and flick it up with her, soooo, we decided to interview Suki Dunham! Yeees, she was there TOO...

 Suki is the founder of OhMiBod. OhMiBod is the creator of the original music vibrator. Kandi and Suki collaborated to create "Bedroom Kandi".

So there it is. DONE. Just like that. And thats how you do it...Now Kandi of course does things with style and grace so Nadine of Fuzion Magazine and myself walked away with a "goodie bag". What was inside?? That you will have to just stay tuned for...PICS COMING SOON ;)
